L-1A Tailored to Your Country

Every country has unique corporate structures. We know how to present them to USCIS.

🇬🇧

United Kingdom

Post-Brexit UK businesses no longer have automatic EU market access — making the US market more important than ever. UK Ltd companies have clean documentation that USCIS respects. Companies House records, VAT returns, and HMRC filings translate well to USCIS requirements.

Key sectors: FinTech, Professional Services, Fashion, Manufacturing, Creative Industries
🇩🇪

Germany

Germany's Mittelstand — the small and mid-size companies that power Europe's largest economy — are ideal L-1A candidates. GmbH and AG corporate structures with Handelsregister documentation provide clean qualifying evidence. German engineering is in high demand across US industries.

Key sectors: Precision Manufacturing, Automotive, Chemicals, Industrial Equipment, MedTech
🇳🇬

Nigeria

Nigeria's economy is Africa's largest, with a booming tech sector and established trading companies. CAC registrations, audited financials, and organizational charts are prepared by our team to meet USCIS documentation standards. Nigeria's entrepreneurial energy translates powerfully to the US market.

Key sectors: FinTech, Trading & Commodities, Oil Services, AgriTech, Fashion
🇿🇦

South Africa

South Africa's established corporate environment and CIPC registration system produce documentation USCIS readily accepts. Mining services, financial services, and technology companies from SA have strong track records that build compelling L-1A cases.

Key sectors: Mining Services, Financial Services, Wine & Agriculture, Technology, Healthcare
🇰🇪

Kenya

Kenya is East Africa's innovation hub. Nairobi's tech scene, Kenya's agricultural exports, and the country's growing services sector produce L-1A-eligible businesses. We work with Kenyan registrar documentation and financial records to build strong petitions.

Key sectors: Mobile Tech, Tea & Coffee Exports, Tourism, Financial Services, AgriTech
🇫🇷

France

French SARL and SAS companies bring wine, luxury goods, fashion, aerospace, and technology to the US market. French corporate documentation is well-structured, and we handle translations and certification for USCIS submission.

Key sectors: Luxury Goods, Wine & Spirits, Aerospace, Fashion, Cosmetics, Tech

Questions from European & African Business Owners
I'm a British citizen with a UK Ltd company. Is L-1A still relevant post-Brexit?
More relevant than ever. Brexit removed automatic EU market access for UK businesses. The US is now the single most attractive English-speaking market for UK expansion. L-1A lets you open a US branch with no investment minimum and no lottery — and UK corporate documentation is extremely clean for USCIS purposes.
My German GmbH has 15 employees. Am I too small for L-1A?
Not at all. Many successful L-1A petitions come from companies with 10–50 employees. What matters is demonstrating your managerial or executive capacity — not raw company size. Germany's Mittelstand companies are ideal candidates because they have clear organizational structures and strong financial records.
Can a Nigerian company with naira-denominated financials apply?
Absolutely. We work with your Nigerian accountants to present financials in a format USCIS accepts, with proper currency conversion and English-language documentation. CAC registration, audited accounts, and organizational charts are all we need to start the assessment.
Is the US market realistic for an African SME?
Very realistic. African businesses often underestimate their US market potential. Nigerian fintech solutions, Kenyan agricultural products, South African wines, Ghanaian cocoa — these products and services have proven US demand. Our role is to build the US infrastructure so you can focus on selling.
How do language barriers affect the L-1A process for non-English-speaking Europeans?
All USCIS documentation must be in English, but that's our job — not yours. We handle professional translation and certification of all German, French, Dutch, Italian, or any other language documents. The process is nationality-neutral.
Does my country need to have a treaty with the US for L-1A?
No. Unlike the E-2 investor visa (which requires a treaty), L-1A is available to nationals of every country. Nigerian, Ghanaian, Kenyan, Egyptian, and all other African nationals are fully eligible — as are all European nationals. L-1A is based on business qualifications, not treaties.
Can I use L-1A to eventually get a US green card?
Yes. After operating your US business for at least one year, you may qualify for the EB-1C multinational manager green card — a direct path to permanent residency that doesn't require labor certification. We plan your green card strategy from day one.
